A: St. Vincent does not have a major chain of hotels because there is not yet the demand for it. St vincent is a small but beautiful island, there are several hotels which offer everything you need. And believe me you wouldn't be spending to much time in your hotel, as there are far to many amazing things to see and do.

A: St. Vincent does not have major chains for a couple of reasons. The chains focus on the higher traffic locations where they will have maximum occupancies. St. Vincent does not get the volume of travelers because it is a little more challenging to get to. Additionally, operating a grand hotel on a small island is quite a challenge. From training the staff to getting enough food for your guests, there are hurdles. In Nevis the Four Seasons has to ship in all their food each week because there is not enough locally. Even their lobster is from Tailand. As a tourist you do not really get a local experience.
